Guillermo del Toro's Pinocchio

(2022)Directed by Mark Gustafson, Guillermo del Toro117 min · PGAnimation, Fantasy, Adventure, Drama
Love will give you life.

A wooden puppet comes to life in Fascist Italy as the son of his carver, Geppetto (David Bradley), who has lost everything else. Cricket (Ewan McGregor) watches from the shadows as Pinocchio (Gregory Mann) stumbles through a world that wants to remake him into a soldier, a star, anything but what his father made. Del Toro and Gustafson animate a story where what binds a father and son matters more than any spell that brought them together.
