Final Destination

“No accidents. No coincidences. No escapes. You can't cheat death.”

Alex Browning (Devon Sawa) has a vision of a plane exploding and convinces classmates to leave before it tears apart in the sky. The survivors think they've beaten death, but the dead begin to collect what was owed to them, one by one, in accidents that seem impossible to prevent. By the end, Alex sits alone in an airport terminal, watching the arrivals board, knowing that death moves through a crowd like a passenger checking the seat numbers.
