An insomniac office worker in a generic apartment, buried in his job and his possessions, meets Tyler Durden (Brad Pitt), a soap salesman with a different way of thinking. They start Fight Club in the basement of a bar, bare-knuckled and unnamed, and men keep showing up. What begins as two men throwing punches becomes a movement, one with a shape and a hunger of its own.
