Falling Down

“The adventures of an ordinary man at war with the everyday world.”

William Foster (Michael Douglas), a recently fired defense worker, abandons his car in a Los Angeles traffic jam and begins a violent trek across the city. A retiring police detective named Prendergast (Robert Duvall) tracks him through the streets as Foster's rage tears through anyone in his path. By the time Prendergast closes in, Foster has already burned every bridge between himself and the life he was trying to salvage.
