Eyes Wide Shut

“No dream is ever just a dream.”

Dr. William Harford (Tom Cruise) is a successful Manhattan physician until his wife Alice (Nicole Kidman) confesses a fantasy about another man. Shaken and jealous, he wanders through the city's dark corridors and masked gatherings, drawn deeper into the world of a secret society. The film suggests that what we imagine about those closest to us, and what we believe we want, are often more dangerous than the truth itself.
