Exodus: Gods and Kings

“When men ruled as gods, one was chosen to change the world.”

Moses (Christian Bale), a general in Pharaoh Sethos I's (John Turturro) army, discovers he is Hebrew and turns against Egypt to free his enslaved people. He clashes with the new Pharaoh Ramses II (Joel Edgerton), his former brother-in-arms, as plagues ravage the land and Moses leads the exodus toward the Red Sea. The cost of liberation is that a man must sometimes break the world to remake it.
