Eragon

“As darkness falls, the last dragon will choose its rider.”

Eragon (Ed Speleers) is a farm boy who discovers a dragon egg in the mountains, and when it hatches, he becomes a Dragon Rider, a figure of legend thought long extinct. An old storyteller named Brom (Jeremy Irons) teaches him magic and swordcraft for the battles ahead. The evil King Galbatorix (John Malkovich) has ruled through tyranny and dark magic for decades, and now that a new Dragon Rider has emerged, the balance of power shifts.
