A fellow British agent vanishes in Jamaica, and James Bond (Sean Connery) is sent to find him. What Bond uncovers is a conspiracy centered on Dr. No (Joseph Wiseman), a figure operating from a remote island with resources that seem to exceed any ordinary criminal enterprise. By the end, Bond must confront what it takes to survive a man who has already erased everyone else who got close.
