Dan Torrance (Ewan McGregor) carries the Overlook Hotel inside him, its violence a weight he numbs with alcohol decades later. When he learns that a girl named Abra Stone (Kyliegh Curran) shares his psychic gift, he realizes she has caught the attention of Rose the Hat (Rebecca Ferguson), a woman who feeds on children like them. Dan must choose between hiding and fighting back, knowing that either path will cost him.
