Demolition Man

“The future isn't big enough for the both of them.”

John Spartan (Sylvester Stallone) is a cop in 1996 Los Angeles who solves crimes with a wrecking-ball approach. After a hostage rescue goes catastrophically wrong, he and the crime lord Simon Phoenix (Wesley Snipes) are both frozen as punishment. Thirty-six years later, Phoenix thaws out in a sanitized future that has outlawed violence, and Spartan must be revived to stop him, even though he is now the most dangerous man alive.
