Deepwater Horizon

On an April morning in 2010, Mike Williams (Mark Wahlberg) arrives for his shift as a toolpusher on the Deepwater Horizon oil rig, where his supervisor Jimmy Harrell (Kurt Russell) is fighting corporate pressure to cut corners on safety. A series of small alarms and malfunctions begin to accumulate, each one dismissed or overridden by management. When the pressure valves fail and methane gas ignites, Williams must navigate the chaos to survive.
