Dawn of the Dead

“When there's no more room in Hell, the dead will walk the Earth.”

When the dead begin rising across America, a nurse named Ana (Sarah Polley) flees Milwaukee and finds shelter with a handful of strangers in a suburban mall. Kenneth (Ving Rhames), Michael (Jake Weber), and the others barricade themselves inside, surrounded by the undead but temporarily safe among the stores and escalators. Snyder shoots the chaos with kinetic precision, pacing the action so that the shopping mall becomes both sanctuary and trap.
