Barnabas Collins (Johnny Depp) wakes in 1972 to find himself cursed and unchanged, a vampire pulled from his coffin two centuries after a witch's revenge. He returns to his family's crumbling Maine mansion to find his descendants in decline, their fortune bleeding away.
