Dark City

“They built the city to see what makes us tick. Last night, one of us went off.”

A man wakes in a dank hotel room with no memory of who he is, wanted for murder. John Murdoch (Rufus Sewell) flees into a city of perpetual night where pale figures called the Strangers seem to pull the streets into new shapes. As he pieces together fragments of his past, he finds Emma (Jennifer Connelly), a woman who claims to know him, and learns that everything he believed about himself was a construction.
