“If the storm doesn't get you... they will”

Haley (Kaya Scodelario) drives through a hurricane to find her estranged father Dave (Barry Pepper) after he stops answering calls, convinced he needs her help. They end up trapped in the crawl space beneath the house as floodwaters rise and alligators hunt them in the dark. Aja shoots the claustrophobic spaces with relentless momentum, the water and teeth closing in from every angle.
