Corpse Bride

Victor Van Dort (Johnny Depp), the shy son of newly wealthy merchants, accidentally slips a ring onto a twig in the woods. The ring belongs to the Corpse Bride (Helena Bonham Carter), who rises from the earth to claim her groom and pull him down into her colorful underworld. In the land of the dead, Victor finds himself caught between the bride who won't let him go and the living woman he loves, Victoria (Emily Watson), waiting above.
