Coming to America

“This summer, Prince Akeem discovers America.”

Prince Akeem (Eddie Murphy) grows up in the palace of Zamunda, pampered and groomed for a bride, but he wants a woman who loves him, not the crown. He flies to Queens with his best friend Semmi (Arsenio Hall) and takes a job at a fast-food restaurant, moving through the city as an ordinary man. By the end, Akeem has found what he was looking for, and he discovers he is most himself when nobody knows who he really is.
