“Welcome to the frontline.”

A team of war journalists, led by the seasoned photographer Lee (Kirsten Dunst), sets out from New York toward Washington, D.C. to document a president they may never reach. Joel (Wagner Moura) and Jessie (Cailee Spaeny), a young photojournalist desperate to prove herself, travel the fractured landscape between federal and rebel forces. By the end, Lee has seen enough death through a lens to know what the camera costs her.
