Changeling

“To find her son, she did what no one else dared.”

Christine Collins (Angelina Jolie), a single mother in 1928 Los Angeles, loses her young son to a kidnapper. Three months later the police return a boy they say is her son, but Christine knows he is not. When she insists on the truth, the police have her confined to a psychiatric ward while the boy remains hers in the eyes of the law. Eastwood photographs her face pressed against the ward's wire mesh, the light cutting it into segments.
