“A new comedy of no manners.”

Penelope Longstreet (Jodie Foster) and Michael (John C. Reilly) invite Nancy (Kate Winslet) and Alan Cowan (Christoph Waltz) to their apartment to discuss a schoolyard incident between their sons. What begins as a composed attempt to resolve things unravels as the four adults reveal their habits and resentments. By evening's end, the question is no longer whether they can solve the problem, but whether any of them will leave intact.
