Carlito's Way
“He's got a good future if he can live past next week.”
Carlito Brigante (Al Pacino) walks out of prison after sixteen years, and his lawyer David Kleinfeld (Sean Penn) promises him a clean exit from the drug trade. But the old world keeps pulling him back in, through debts owed and streets that remember his name. De Palma tracks Carlito through neon-lit nights and grainy violence until he finds himself running across the Queensboro Bridge, the city closing in behind him.
