“In Bruce We Trust?”

Bruce Nolan (Jim Carrey), a frustrated TV reporter, rages at God for bungling the world's problems. God (Morgan Freeman) gives Bruce his powers for one week to see if he can do better. Bruce starts small, making his ex-girlfriend Grace (Jennifer Aniston) fall back in love with him, but the real work of holding the world together proves messier than cosmic wish-granting, and he finds himself kneeling on a bridge at dawn, palms up, asking for help.
