Bridge of Spies

Berlin, 1960. Lawyer James B. Donovan (Tom Hanks) is pulled from his insurance practice into the Cold War when he's asked to defend Rudolf Abel (Mark Rylance), a Soviet spy arrested on American soil. Donovan must travel to a divided Berlin to negotiate a prisoner exchange, trading Abel for Francis Gary Powers, a CIA pilot held captive in Moscow. He stands alone on the bridge between East and West, two men walking toward each other in the snow.
