“Have you ever had a really big secret?”

A thirteen-year-old boy named Josh Baskin (Tom Hanks) makes a wish at a carnival fortune teller and wakes up in an adult body with no explanation for how to reverse it. He has to navigate New York City, get a job, and figure out how to live as a grown man while his best friend Billy (Jared Rushton) tries to help from the outside. Josh discovers that going back means letting go of things a kid can't afford to lose.
