Before Sunrise

“Can the greatest romance of your life last only one night?”

Jesse (Ethan Hawke), an American writer, strikes up a conversation with Céline (Julie Delpy), a French student, on a train heading toward Vienna. Before they part ways, Jesse talks her into leaving the train with him to spend one night walking through the city. By dawn, when they must decide whether to exchange numbers or let each other disappear, they have already become necessary to each other.
