Batman Returns

“The Bat. The Cat. The Penguin.”

Gotham City at Christmas is a place of cavernous skyscrapers and gothic excess. The Penguin (Danny DeVito), a deformed creature raised in the sewers, emerges alongside the ruthless businessman Max Shreck (Christopher Walken), while Catwoman (Michelle Pfeiffer), a woman remade by violence, pursues her own agenda. Batman (Michael Keaton) finds himself caught between them, his mask and armor the only things keeping him human.
