Scott Ward (Dave Bautista) needs money and sees his chance when Las Vegas gets sealed off after a zombie outbreak. He assembles a crew of mercenaries to break into a casino vault before the military nukes the city. Snyder stages the heist across neon-soaked nights with an ensemble moving through darkened rooms and undead hordes, using slow-motion and kinetic cuts to amplify the chaos of each calculated moment.
