Almost Famous

Fifteen-year-old William Miller (Patrick Fugit) lands an assignment to write a cover story for Rolling Stone, following the rock band Stillwater on tour in 1973. He finds himself caught between the band's guitarist Russell Hammond (Billy Crudup) and an enigmatic band-aid named Penny Lane (Kate Hudson). What he writes could make or break the band, his career, and the people he has come to care for.
