After Earth

“Danger is real, fear is a choice.”

A thousand years after humans fled Earth, a spacecraft carrying Cypher Raige (Will Smith) and his son Kitai (Jaden Smith) crashes back on the abandoned planet. Cypher is badly injured; Kitai must trek alone across a hostile landscape to reach the rescue beacon miles away. Everything on Earth has evolved to kill them, and Kitai has only days before the planet's nightly temperature drop freezes him solid.
