A Dog's Purpose

“Every dog happens for a reason.”

A golden retriever named Bailey (Josh Gad) is born into a loving home with a boy named Ethan (KJ Apa) and grows up inseparable from him. When circumstances tear them apart, Bailey dies, only to be reborn into a new life with a new family. Across multiple lifetimes and bodies, Bailey searches for Ethan again, knowing that each incarnation brings him closer to a reunion he cannot stop pursuing.
