King Leonidas (Gerard Butler) is a Spartan warrior bound by honor and the laws of his kingdom, until the Persian God-King Xerxes demands his submission. He rallies three hundred soldiers to hold a mountain pass against an invading army of hundreds of thousands, knowing the odds are impossible.
