“The declassified true story of the horse soldiers”

Afghanistan in October 2001: twelve Special Forces soldiers arrive with almost nothing, tasked to destabilize the Taliban before the country tears itself apart. Captain Mitch Nelson (Chris Hemsworth) and his sergeant Hal Spencer (Michael Shannon) must forge an alliance with General Dostum (Navid Negahban), a local warlord who fights by different rules. Winning requires trusting people you've just met, in a place where the old rules no longer hold.
